Suggestions for a two-week trip to CR
I would spend 3 or 4 days in our capital and I would show them as much as possible. We would certainly visit the Prague castle with Golden lane, St. Vitus cathedral, than the Charles bridge, Old town and Venceslas square, Hradcany, Vysehrad and Kampa. But we wouldn’t walk the whole day, we would visit traditional Prague pubs and in the evening we would go to Smetanova concert hall to see a real classical concert. Some night we would visit the Zizkov tower to see the spectacular view of night Prague, during day we would go to the ZOO and on Petrin, to technical and national museum and we could make a trip on a boat.
Another 3 or 4 days we would spend under tents, because we would go tramping to Novohradske hory. On the way we would visit Karlstejn, Morina (called America or Czech Grand Canyon) and Koneprusy caves. We could visit also Cesky Krumlov and bath in Lipno.
When we return, we could hire boats and make some river – Berounka would be the best, we could spend a night in Krivoklat.
And if we had some time left, we would go to our big cottage in Jeseniky and would make trips across the mountains or go to pubs in the evenings.
